Hotel Garni Wolfgang is well situated in Hinterglemm. We came here for skiing and there is a lift just in the back of the hotel. We were able to take this lift and ski down to one of the main gondolas. Although the hotel is not in the center of town, it is within 3-5 minutes walk to the center. We were pleased with the location as it was very quiet but still close to where the restaurants and bars are and just across the street from the bus station. Our room was large and could have accommodated 4 people instead of 2. The room and other parts of the hotel are very kept and extremely clean. We arrived early to check in and the owner was there and was very accommodating to allow us to leave our luggage until the cleaning had been completed. The breakfast each day was well prepared and offered eggs, bacon, different breads and buns, smoked salmon, cheese, meats, fruit and cereal. The location of the ski and boot room was in the basement however, it was well lit, clean and pleasant. There were boot warmers in the ski room. In the evening, a small meal was available at a reasonable price. Although we did not eat there, we did see the menu which included spagetti, pizza, goulash. Should we return to Hinterglemm for skiing, we would definitely stay at Hotel Garni Wolfgang.
