The hotel is located in olive groves with unobstructed views of the sea and Corfu. It's very quiet. The rooms were clean and well-maintained. The kitchen had everything you needed, so you could even self-cater. To get into town for larger shopping trips, you have to drive along an unpaved road. But it works. The beach is a 20-minute walk through the hilly forest, where you'll also find the nearest restaurants, bars, and mini-supermarkets. You can also get to town along the coast, but it's rather difficult, as it's very rocky and completely unlit in the evening.

We choose to pay and book the bigger room 403 as we are a family of 4 with 2 tall teenage boys and it was well worth it for the extra space and amazing panoramic view of the sea and coastline with a huge wrap around balcony on the top floor. Boys had a camp bed and a sofa bed and we had a big bedroom - all with highly effective ac. Everything was exceptionally clean and set up. The lady that runs the place with her husband is delightful, friendly, welcoming and helpful - she even gave us a pot of her homemade fig jam when we left. Highly recommend these apartments to stay in as they are close enough to everything but also far enough away to enjoy the stunning scenery around you in peace and away from the masses! The ‘road’ to the apartments is quite steep and rough in places to drive and definitely quite a workout at the end of the evening if you have eaten out in town. Secluded private beach (rocks not sand, but ladders) is a 10min walk down the path from the hotel where there is great snorkelling and it was an idyllic location - although the sunbeds are quite pricey. You can also walk to the other 2 main beaches either side, although one involves a very steep rough rocky track of sorts and the other a very rocky climb along the coastline - so it maybe preferable to drive to them or walk the other longer ways - if you are not feeling too intrepid! Town was 15min walk to shops and restaurants and the main town beach - very touristy and prices are high in comparison to the rest of Albania, but a few gem restaurants if you hunt around the beachside more touristy ones.
