Yes, it was in a quiet village about 1h30 min from the lake. Beautiful views around the hills, simple clean accommodation. No frills but very clean and adequate. A nice sitting area outside was very nice.

Reasonably priced accommodation close to the Swiss border. We went to Rhine Falls and found that staying in Germany is significantly cheaper than in Switzerland. When traveling by car, distance is not a problem. Nice place to stay, well equipped kitchen, free parking (and a spectacular thunderstorm during dinner :-) )
