Coffee was cold all four days at the hotel. I brought it to the attention of the front desk and the kitchen staff and nothing was resolved. The staff really did not seem to care. We got to the point where we would just skip looking at the breakfast or trying the coffee and going off site. My wife and I would have given all high ratings but were unable to since the staff seemed burdened by being at work and answering questions or otherwise accommodating guests. We have had positive experiences at other Hilton properties.

The hotel was modern, clean, comfortable and in good repair. The price charged was very reasonable for the quality of the accommodations. My room was spacious and the kitchenette is a very practical feature. Key features for me in any hotel room are the comfort of the bed and the cleanliness and functionality of the bathroom. Home2 Suites in Hilton Head scored very well on both counts.
