The location is close to the restaurants and grocery stores, clean for an Airbnb, plenty of space to park, only 40 minutes drive to Mauna Kea visitor centor and 25 minute to the 'Akaka Falls, 10 minutes to Richardson Ocean Park. It's very quiet at night aside from the frog + rain sound.

Cozy and welcoming apartment, well stocked with everything we needed. Hosts were very responsive to our questions. Great location close to waterfront and market.

The Over the Rainbow loft was comfortable, clean and the hosts provided beach towels, snorkel gear, plus a lot of other beach gear including chairs and sun shade umbrella. There were so many little touches that made our experience great. The local coffee and cookies, the full kitchen, after sun lotion, big spray, travel toothbrush, first aid kit, and more. There were plenty of towels. There's also a washer and dryer which we couldn't find - it's outside in the garage of the property directly in front. The parking spot is right outside your door. Overall, the Over the Rainbow loft is a great place to stay, the location is ideal as a base and for food options. Bedding was comfortable and you have everything you require for your stay - whether short or extended. We highly recommend it and would definitely stay again on our next visit to Hilo.
