Spacious suite with a big lounge and sofas and a fun island decor. We especially liked the tiki figurines in the bathroom. Parking is just outside the room and the beach is a 5 mins walk away. Comfortable bed.

Stu was an excellent host and the property and room were incredible value for money. Only regret is that we weren't staying there longer :(

Honestly, we didn’t want to leave this place, it felt like home from the moment we arrived. The room is huge, with plenty of space and a cozy living area where you can truly relax. Everything was immaculate. The property is beautifully maintained, with a pool and a lovely terrace where you can enjoy a peaceful breakfast. We didn’t have much time to get to know the owners since they were out of town for most of our stay, but the few interactions we had were warm and friendly. The location is perfect. The property is in a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood just 10–15 minutes from downtown Hilo. At first, we were unsure about not being right in the city center, but honestly, you wouldn’t want to be once you see this place. It offers the best of both worlds: tranquility and easy access to town.
