We have stayed at this hotel many times since it is one of the few hotels in Hilo The room was large with a beautiful view of the ocean and downtown Hilo. The beds were large and comfortable We liked the 1 free drink every evening and the Christmas decorations on the grounds. It was the end of low season, so the pool area was not busy. Ken's Restaurant is a 10-minute walk along Banyan Drive

The location is great, very easy to get around Hilo. All the staff members we encountered were very friendly and welcoming. Beautiful view.
