We stayed in many 4 and a couple of 5 star hotels on this trip through germany austria and italy. The Van Der Valk Hildesheim stands head and shoulders above all the rest, including the nominally 5 star hotels, in every respect. An extremly well managed hotel.

Great location in the central platz. Easy parking. Very good general quality hotel. Newly refurbished and opened fitness area and lovely pool was very welcome. Breakfast buffet was excellent.

Nice hotel right in the old centre of Hildesheim. Good restaurant offering a nice choice of meals. Perfect for our overnight stay. Convenient parking which is important for us when travelling by car.
