I don't know where to begin, this guesthouse will forever be one of my favourite places to stay. I have fond memories of writing, reading, relaxing here. It's so tranquil. I booked originally for two nights and stayed for 10 days. The 'dorms' are either 4 beds or 2 beds. I had some of the best sleep on my travels. The futons are comfy and very warm. There are bed curtains for privacy and then room curtains which are very effective blackouts The hosts are so lovely too. Hajime/Jimmy loves to chat with the guests, and both he and his wife exemplify the kind and courteous Japanese hospitality. The guesthouse attracts curious and nice solo travellers of both foreign and local origins.

The host Jimmy and naruko were super warm and friendly. Very house proud. Their lack of English is made up for by their actions. Property in a great location. Walkable to all things and there’s even a huge supermarket a minute walk from property. Ideal for travellers on a tight budget.

This is the perfect guesthose for anyone travelling solo. Everything is so clean and nice and sleeping on the futon bed is very comfortable. Additionally, the owners are warm and welcoming which made me feel so comfortable the second I arrived.
