Stunning room, with wrap around views of the sea, palm trees and such a comfortable bed. I could have stayed in my room or on the balcony for most of the day! We also had a wonderful house keeping team, who couldn’t do enough - there was daily yoga, aqua aerobics and Pilates - breakfast and dining area was a let down - not nearly as stylish as the rooms

We really enjoyed our stay at the Lucky Elephant. Staff were always helpful, breakfast was acceptable and the pool was super relaxing and clean. A special thank you to the house keeping staff. They did a clean and tidy up like no other. Excellent work!

We had a fantastic stay at The Lucky Elephant Hotel! The room was spotless, and the entire hotel was well-maintained, making it feel fresh and comfortable. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the restaurant manager was especially kind—always giving extra attention to guests and ensuring our stay was perfect. The hotel is a quiet boutique retreat, ideal for relaxation. While the sea isn’t swimmable due to waves, the clean, uncrowded beach is perfect for walks and stunning sunsets. Plus, it’s just a short drive from the lively part of Hikkaduwa. Highly recommend for a peaceful getaway!

Lovely pool and beach area. Staff were amazing - Friendly and welcoming. Room was great. Excellent shower Balcony big enough to sit on with a table.

Great location short walk into Main Street but also in a quiet area. The hotel was beautiful with a lovely pool and restaurant located on the beach. Friendly staff and clean room which was made fresh and tidied daily, highly recommend

The room was lovely, spacious, clean, with a really great balcony. It does have the options of a fan or air-conditioning. The incredibly relaxing music from the hall wafted in to the bathroom which was very calming. The staff were exceptional and the food, delicious. The location is superb. Just a little bit out of the main he could do a town where you can enjoy wonderful stroll along the beach and even in this busy time of year it felt extremely quiet. Tuk tuk into town is easy and inexpensive.

There aren't many places that look as good as the pictures but this is one of them!! The staff are some of the nicest and most helpful we've come across, the breakfast was great, views incredible, location perfect and the staff went to incredible lengths to ensure your stay was perfect. Quiet, not over crowded pool, lovely restaurant with some traditional Sri Lankan options as well as the standard eggs and bacon, fresh fruit. It was amazing, I'd recommend to everyone!
