Spent two days with family. The place was very quiet, clean and very calm. Very friendly management and they kind hearted people. Very good place for family outings. Highly recommended

The villa was beautiful and the grounds are really lovely. There are good facilities, the young people enjoyed the TV. It was hard with the powercuts but this is not the fault of the owners. The bedrooms were fine and the bathrooms, especially one is nicely decorated. There is a house to the back which is owned by the same people so sometimes there was a lady who was helpful with the kitchen things. A rice cooker was available on demand. We had a lovely stay and made some really happy memories. The good price is great for us to have a happy birthday weekend together and it was easy to walk to the junction and get tuktuks or busses to Galle and Hikkaduwa. We swam with the turtles at Hikkaduwa and visited Galle easily by bus. You do have to walk off the beaten track through a little nature (past large monitor lizards) to get to the villa so if you struggle with walking you would need to ask them to help get you a tuk tuk from there; otherwise it is a shortish walk to the nearest beach across the railway line. The host was very helpful getting my friends away to their early morning train, but I couldn't get hold of him at checkout time to help me. They helped us when we forgot to bring salt and a few other things and I think would have helped more with cooking if we had not brought out own stuff. We had a nice barbeque though had to scrub down the rust before using. All in all a very good value lovely place for a group stay. The imperfect things were not important compared with the pleasantness of the surroundings and the comfort when the fans and electricity were working!!
