Gorgeous cottage set in fantastic gardens and woodland. The hosts Alan and Marie where very nice and could not help us enough with recommendations for walks and places to eat at of an evening (we would recommend Steam and the Drunken Duck). They were also very happy for us to walk around their amazing garden and take in the magnificent views of Coniston water and the surrounding mountains. We are already thinking when we can revisit. Thank you again for a great weekend.

Fantastic location and beautiful quirky cottage. Coniston is in a stunning area of the lakes and the cottage in beautiful private grounds. The hosts are very welcoming and friendly. The cottage is well equipped and warm.

Beautiful setting in the hosts wonderful garden where all you can hear is the stream and the birds. Very well located for the lakes and great walks without the need for the car, Coniston is a 30 minute walk along a woodland path.
