The lodge was stunning, absolutely immaculately clean, had everything we needed for a comfortable break away and the hot tub was a massive bonus

Great lodge in a fantastic location walking distance between Ambleside and Windermere. Kids had a great time in the pool and the hot tub was fab. Really clean and even had an air fryer which was really useful. Would definitely come back.

By far this is the best lodge I have stayed in. It really is a home from home. So cosy, decorated well throughout, comfort with sofas and beds. Everything you would need to cook a meal is there, pans utensils, glasses, plates in abundance. Loved that there was even a dog bowl (we forgot) WiFi was amazing and just all the attention to detail, bottle of wine left to welcome us, gorgeus plants & flowers on the decking even the air freshener left in the toilet.Instructions from Wifi to the hot tub were readily available in the Lodge too.

A beautiful lodge with a lot of thoughtful details. We felt we were in a treehouse looking out of the full length windows. The hot tub was a rewarding experience at the end of a day walking in the many nearby hills and ventures in the lakes. The lodge is well equipped. I can’t think of anything to fault. We can’t wait to return in the future. Highly recommended.
