The property had a garden that led into the farm in two directions, you could see the estuary and our 3 year old loved watching the boats from the window and the planes flying over! The beds were comfortable and it had been clean throughout. It had all the facilities we needed, including cooking equipment, a washing machine and even baking equipment which had been a lovely touch! Two bathrooms again, ace for us. A TV with the opportunity to login to Netflix and Disney as well as freeview channels and apps. It had been quiet and peaceful, we were able to walk around the farm when we wanted. Kim really made the trip interesting for our son, he was able to visit the donkeys, chickens and horses; feed the ducks at the pond! We were able to travel a short distance in the car to visit different places in the area including the dockyard to see the boats. You can park right outside the property. We went to their farm shop which had a lovely selection to choose from. You can also request fruit to be provided to you, ordering it at the start of the day via contacting the owner and they would deliver at the end of the day, we did not use this on this occasion but it was nice to know we had the opportunity to do so. Our son needed somewhere quiet, not so stimulating and things to do and this place did not fail!

Location looking out over the marshlands to the Thames Estuary. Tranquility. Very comfortable property, with everything provided for a perfect holiday.

We had a truly fantastic and rejuvenating stay! Tucked away in a calm, quiet natural setting, this place was the perfect city escape. The room was spotless and just as clean as it appeared in the photos, and it was stocked with all the essentials. The owner was exceptional; even though she wasn't on-site, her replies were immediate and she was always quick to help with anything we needed. The highlight for us was definitely the vast 120-acre farm. We loved roaming around, and my child had a blast spending time with the horses, donkeys, chickens, and ducks. It was a beautiful trip that I would highly recommend to anyone seeking peace and quiet in nature.
