Very clean and welcoming and the heating was on when we arrived in very cold conditions. Lovely shower and good amenities. Very comfortable bed.

The location was perfect if you wanted to be in the middle of nowhere. We did. The scenery was breathtaking. We sat in the beer garden playing cards, listening to the sheep with rolling countryside as our view. There were no shops within walking distance but a 10 minute drive to the nearest village of Barton. The shower was very powerful. The TV was big and had no trouble connecting to channels or apps. Good WiFi connection. The View pub/restaurant was perfect. Staff were friendly, nothing was too much trouble (we were left no milk so husband popped over and they gave us a pint straight away) we had an evening meal which was very high quality.

rooms compact but spacious at the same time not too cluttered just the right amount of appliances you need. very clean and tidy mostly. beautifully furnished and handy bedside lamp with very comfy bed. easy to access and handy there’s no check in staff so can turn up and leave as and when within reason.
