The location was very good as it was near the people I was visiting and close to the centre of the village. It's also a good base to explore the area. The wood fire was nice to have. The premises were very clean.

Clean, easily located. Great facilities. Rooms well sized. Plenty of kitchen utensils. Ideal location for what we had planned. Nice property. Quiet area.

We enjoyed a comfortable week here with 4 adults and 2 teenagers. Cottage was well appointed but not luxury. A good base for exploring all there is to see around Hadrian's Wall. A drive to find local restaurants.
