This hotel using the British vernacular is pub with accommodation and formal dining area but no car park area. It is centrally located in the town. Breakfast was very good. The room was good and the bed was comfortable and firm. Another place where the stairs were "interesting" to negotiate with medium size luggage. We have a first floor bedroom overlooking a quiet main street of the town.

We stayed one night with some friends at the county. Was a lovely experience, staff very helpful and friendly, room and bathroom clean and large. Beds and pillow very comfortable, bar and restaurant great, food was very good. Yummy breakfast too!

The staff were great. Both the lady who checked us in on the Saturday and the lady who serviced breakfast and checked us out. We were upgraded to king size room, which was large and clean, with a huge bathroom. I like most hotels, the water pressure of the shower and as brilliant, and the water hot. There’s no parking at the hotel, but Hexham isn’t big and we were directed to a car park just around the corner.

Breakfast cooked to order exactly as requested. Very good bar to sit and relax with varied menu.
