We loved the feeling of home from home.The Roman was in a fantastic spot ,right by the river,in a small “village”like location,close to shops and central to lots of areas and places we wanted to visit and walk. .It was lovely and warm,and exceptionally clean.We loved the open plan living area,which was a good size,well furnished and well equipped ,we had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay.We thought the extra touches of some lovely roses,biscuits and crisps and milk,were very thoughtful .There was also provided,all the household supplies like dishwasher tablets etc. We found the local information and guides helpful and interesting. The upstairs bedrooms and bathroom were also really comfortable and well furnished .We used the twin room as it was larger and had more storage,although the double was lovely too.Really comfortable beds .Great bathroom with shower. We had a wonderful time here,the area had been on our bucket list for a long time,we didn’t have any issues problems at all .We met the owner once ,which was great because we could tell her personally how much we had enjoyed our stay.

Lovely barn conversion with plenty of space and everything you could need for a lovely stay . Great for walkers, etc, with the utility room as you walk in

Everything we needed. All good quality furniture / beds were really comfortable. Lovely patio next to brook with ducks. Everything worked well. It was so clean it looked like no one else had ever stayed there! Thank you.

Lovely peaceful setting next to a burn and close to all the great facilities in Bellingham. Pristine, comfortable, bright barn conversion. We even saw a kingfisher and salmon from the kitchen window. Highly recommended, especially for Pennine Way walking.
