Lovely welcome from Gillian and the chickens. Quirky and well equipped shepherds hut, very cozy with the stove lit.

What a wonderful place and owners. The wife and myself enjoyed a couple of nights here and what a treat. If your after getting away from it all, with maybe a walk and a good book then this is the place for you. Everything is on hand and available, so you will want for nothing and can come and go as you please. Was lovely seeing the horses and chickens in the morning after a lovely nights sleep as you sit outside eating breakfast and drinking a morning coffee.....missing it already

The hut was lovely, if slightly on the compact side, but then we always bring too much stuff. A couple of coat hooks might be good and a pull out set of steps for more elder folk [my wife] to access the bed area. That said, it was the most comfortable bed I've slept in anywhere apart from my own one at home. It really suited as we could come and go as we pleased, Gillian and James were very good hosts. It was so damp and chilly, even for July that we lit the stove, and it was remarkably efficient. We just loved the free range chickens, despite not finding any freshly laid eggs! Gary and Amanda.
