A great location in the country. The room was large and comfortable. The (Aga) cooked breakfast was excellent. We would book again.

Beautiful location, very comfortable and clean, lovely couple that were welcoming and very accommodating to any needs. Fantastic breakfast, lots of choice. Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the area.

The location is fantastic for exploring Hadrian's Wall which was the aim of our trip, and the room was great - the bed was very comfortable and there was a nice shower. Carolyn was a great host and we very much enjoyed the breakfast each morning. Plenty of space to park a car and despite other reviews we thought it was very easy to drive to from the main roads - it's a narrow road but with many passing places and not very far.
