Ticked every box, exactly as the photos if not better - spotless on arrival. Amanda was very welcoming and proactive with offering ice for drinks on a hot summer weekend. Kitchens stocked with essentials. Beautiful area with outside space, well maintained and overlooks countryside. Go slowly on the roads nearby they’re your typical country lanes. Close proximity to nearby shops and availability on Deliveroo for cottagecore capitalists. Quick delivery so no pauses between garlic mayo dripping down your chin and sitting outside the barn pretending to be an ethereal flaneur living your life as if you’re in a romantic novel 10/10

In a beautiful, quiet rural setting, Wellrose Barn was perfect for an independent few days away with our dogs in mid-December. Amanda was very welcoming on our arrival and then left us to it - she was happy for us to ask if there was anything we needed, but that wasn't necessary. The Barn was super clean and very well appointed. The doggy towels provided at the bottom of the stairs were an especially thoughtful touch. The milk, bread, etc. left out for us were also very welcome. We enjoyed the peace of the garden and surrounding farmland, and slept like proverbial logs every night of our stay. We are hoping to go back in the summer.
