Kalimera Villiage is situated at the top of Piskopiano, Hersonissos. Very picturesque with views of the sea and the property itself is a beautifully maintained historic location. This was a mutual holiday with friends and all three apartments rented were unique but had standard amenities across them: multiple toilets, shower, beds, kitchen and balconies. The pool, directly across the narrow road is gorgeous and clean. The staff were amazingly attentive and helped with an issue we had with one guest who wasn’t able to climb stairs well—they quickly swapped apartments for them to one more easily accessible. Anna the proprietor is friendly and happy to chat and give recommendations for places to eat and things to see, at one point one of our party needed a taxi and this was phoned immediately for them. All in all one of the best places we’ve stayed anywhere in the world so far, there was no downside for us to staying in this lovely mountain village.

Spacious rooms. We had a 2 bedroom apartment and it was on 2 floors. 2 bathrooms. The room we had was traditional in style so a bit basic but perfect for our requirements. The rooms are in the process of being renovated. The staff were extremely accommodating, moving one of our party to another room due to accessibility issues. They also allowed us to keep on our room until our later flight. Excellent service. Brilliant cleaning service. We were only there 3 nights and we got fresh towels and clean bedding which was not expected. Good breakfast.

Lovely hosts, always available and with plenty suggestions to explore and enjoy the area. The accommodation was absolutely lovely, very clean and quiet, with a beautiful view on the bay and sea, both from our rooms and from the breakfast terrace, and just a few minutes away by car from gorgeous beaches. We would love to come back here and enjoy the unique Crete hospitality and it's people.
