Ymile and James made sure that we were well looked after. The beach villa had everything we needed. The view from the deck was breathtaking and the Onrus beach a short walk away!! We loved our stay and will be back!! Jacqui, Ebi and Kayla ♥️😊🤗

We were met at the gate by James who took us to our room and explained the facilities. We then met the owners who also made some excellent recommendations of what to do in the area. This was one of the most unusual villas I have stayed in, a cross between the Secret Garden and Jungle Book. The room had a decent kitchen, lounge area and a very comfortable bed. It also had a snooker table!

We stayed Lagoon Villa. Having explored most Western Cape and different hotels, Kennedy's in Onrus Bay (10 min drive to Hermanus) is a truly unique place. Villa (totally hidden in the trees) had own garden on the lagoon (canoe avail to use) and it must be one of the most special locations to be 'away from it all'. Spectacular backdrop. The Villa was (huge!) full of eclectic objects collected by the owner Ymile and felt like a past era. She was so charming and lovely. James greeted us with a huge smile and always happy to help! Only place I know you can play snooker in your bedroom! If you want pristine/modern accomm this isn't it. What it will give you is far more valuable. Onrus is a hidden gem populated by wealthy locals so limited tourists. A real find! We will return I am sure.

There must be rankings for properties with the BEST VIEW, and Kennedy's should rate right up there. Lagoon, river, sea, sand, forest - everything. The private jacuzzi has THE best view. Massive deck outside with lounge chairs, barbecue pit - just lovely. Our room was great! Sport channels on the TV, Nescafe coffee machine, aircon, etc - very comfy. James met us there to explain everything and along with Mrs. Kennedy were very friendly and helpful! We will definitely be back!
