I never saw a backpacker as clean and tidy as that one, there’s order. I will recommend it to someone. The staff was welcoming and nice.

Definitely exceeded expectations and not what you would expect from industry standard backpackers quality. However, our experience may have been great because we were a couple who stayed in a family apartment (double room with private bathroom) with 5 different areas at a very affordable price. Value for money indeed! During arrival, Marco gave us a cold reception and did not want to shake hands claiming he is scared of collecting germs because medication is expensive haha. This means they take hygiene very seriously at this backpackers and that's always a plus, especially in such a communal accommodation vicinity.

We were in town for a race, and the host was extremely accommodating with our erratic schedule and equipment. It really was the perfect place to stay for the race, extremely close to the harbour. The entire backpackers was quiet, but our double room felt especially quiet and private. The kitchen area is very spacious too. Will definitely be staying here again when in Hermanus.
