Hoare “An ideal, quiet, break away in the Herefordshire countryside.”

The house is ideally situated for exploring the area by car (Hereford 15-20 mins away, Leominster 25 mins, Hay-on-Wye 50 mins. There are no main roads and you are surrounded by fields, apple orchards and sheep. The house has a small library. There is outside seating and plenty of chairs. The kitchen is fully equipped. The house has a homely feel to it. The house was clean and beds comfortable, with plenty of rooms, including two bathrooms. There were lots of games and books for all ages and interests. There are DVD's for all ages. I would have been happy having more time in the house and relaxing in the surroundings.

We just want to say thank you for everything. We've had a lovely holiday over Easter. The property and the location was beautiful , so peaceful and quiet, it had everything we needed and more. One of the most relaxing getaways we've had as a family in a long time. Our 5 months old daughter slept through every night here for the first time which was incredible. We all enjoyed the beautiful and massive garden including our 3 dogs who really didn't want to come inside at all. We are looking forward to coming here again next year.

We travelled from Bournemouth for a family wedding 8 of us and 3 dogs. All of us loved the house and the dogs thoroughly enjoyed the garden. We were mesmerised by the houses history and all the old furnishings, fixtures and fittings very beautiful indeed the house has such amazing charchter and definitely worth a stay if you love history. We also loved the fact of how tucked away it is and the privacy and quaintness. We had everything we needed including tea, sugar and coffee. The fire pit in the garden and log fire in the lounge made it a very homely feel indeed. Additionally the bed was one of the most comfortable bed we have slept in away from home. The host was very accommodating and responsive. Did not hesitate in answering any questions we had before our stay and was very informative. Thank you for a beautiful stay and allowing us to build some great family memories. If ever in the area we would definate love to come back and stay again.
