Only stay here for the location. The rooms desperately need a revamp. Staff are always good here.

We booked an apartment within the hotel so had a separate kitchenette between the bedroom and bathroom. The bedroom and bathroom were huge. The kitchenette was equipped with a full-size under-counter fridge (no freezer compartment), a Vertuo Nespresso machine, a microwave and crockery and cutlery, along with the usual kettle and beverage equipment. The bed was comfortable and a good size. There was a couch plus two chairs at a small dining table. The television looked tiny because of the size of the room but was perfectly ok. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The location is perfect for the city and the cathedral, with lots to see and do. You can leave your car in the car park (assuming you have a space) on the day you check out

I liked the size and decor of the rooms. I liked that it had fans due to the room being warm. I liked that the room was cleaned on my second day and biscuits, tea and coffee were restocked and cups cleaned. Cant fault the cleaners. I liked the location. I liked the building and decor through the whole hotel.

Stayed for 3 nights (6th-9th August 25) the room was spacious, clean, comfortable bed and well presented. All staff who assisted us were friendly and helpful. The reception team returned a bag to me after I left it in the room accidently, they were extremely kind about it. The location of the hotel was ideal with immediate access to the River Wye and the town centre with a range of bars and restaurants. I would highly recommend Leaven Pizza and cocktails at The Tipsy Kat.
