Somerville House is centrally located in the historic part of Dorchester. The hosts were very welcoming, and helpful with ideas for sightseeing and restaurants during our stay. Breakfast was a highlight, with plenty of options and very generous (too generous for the waistline!). Fairly quiet during the night, with double glazing of the windows.

Good location. Safe & free off road parking. Very comfortable room with a walk in shower which was a great bonus! Great breakfast. Lovely dining room. Nice garden area.

Although not in the centre of the city access to it was easy. The presentation of the rooms and communal spaces is tasteful and there are nice personal touches. Excellent choices available on the breakfast menu. Our hosts clearly take pride in what they do.
