What an absolutely wonderful cottage, beautiful grounds, and lovely most accommodating hosts. Don’t hesitate to book. We attended a wedding down the road and were very lucky with how close this cottage was, with plenty of space for our family and all the wedding gear! Having a coffee by the lake was a delight, and the pygmy goats just the best to watch!

Cider Press was a great location for our stay as we attended a wedding reception just down the lane. Pete the host was very informative, showing us around the apartment and the grounds. Any further info you wanted, he could answer for example taxi service. The booking did not include breakfast but fresh eggs were delivered to our door! What a fab touch. The kitchen was very well equipped with every appliance needed to cook a full breakfast if desired. The location was very tranquil and the gardens were beautiful. We liked saying hello to the chickens, pig, sheep etc. Lovely lake and lots of quiet seating areas to have a cup of tea or glass of wine. Beds were very very comfortable.

The converted Cider Press was quaint characterful and cozy, the surroundings were gorgeous; stunning views all around, on a picturesque bit of land, with a lake and friendly goats, sheep and chickens. Welcoming hosts. Lovely woodland trail near by.

Our stay was magical and inspiring. Thank you to Pete and Fiona for your warm welcome to us and particularly to our two-year-old who is still talking about her new animal friends after meeting your marvellous menagerie! The Cider Press house is beautiful and exceptionally well presented. We are looking forward to booking again next time we are passing through.
