For travellers arriving late at night in Heraklion (around or after midnight), Lena Hotel is an ideal starting point for a trip to Crete. The self check-in process works smoothly, and in the morning you can head straight out to explore — the Archaeological Museum is just a 3-minute walk away. Cafés, restaurants, and even a supermarket are all within 3–5 minutes on foot, making the location extremely convenient. We only picked up our rental car in the afternoon, and leaving our luggage at the hotel in the meantime was no problem at all. All in all, Lena Hotel is a practical, well-located, and stress-free choice for your first night in Crete.

Very comfortable bed. Good location in city center and close to harbour. Nice souvenir shops and restaurants towards harbour. Walking distance to bus station and museums. I enjoyed my stay. The staff was very kind and accepted my last minute booking. Clean towels, simple but comfortable room with everything needed for a short stay.

Good service desk and able to leave luggage in storage after check out which was helpful for late flight. Rooms are clean, a decent size and location is unbeatable, close to harbour but quiet. Very pleasant staff and feels safe and secure. Recommended
