Hostel Overview

The Yard Hostel is centrally located in Helsinki, just a 5-minute walk from Helsinki Central Station. This hostel offers dormitory rooms as well as private rooms. Free WiFi is available.

The property's courtyard will undergo a façade renovation from the 15th of May until the 31st of October 2024. During this, the windows in the rooms facing the courtyard will be covered. The works will not take place in the early hours, late evenings or on the weekends. The hostel remains open as usual during the renovations.Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. It is so clean and the bed is so comfortable!! Staff is so nice and the location is so good!! Just a 15 mins walk to tourist spots. They got a nice kitchen with dishwasher, oven and microwave ~ the whole place is so comfy and feels like home!! It is very user-friendly for traveler with suitcases, they got slopes and elevator!!

Good location, very close to the central railway/metro station, and they can keep your luggage for free on the day of arrival or departure.

The staff was very helpful and the overall vibe of the hostel was great. The living room is very inviting for an evening tea or to wrap up some planning, and the kitchen is perfectly equipped. Bonus point: the room was beautifully decorated!
