Perfect central location: The hotel is situated right in the heart of Helsinki, right next to the Central Railway Station, which offers a direct connection to the airport. Within a 5–10 minute walk you can reach Senate Square and other major landmarks like the Uspenski Cathedral. Easy access to public transport: A tram stop is located just outside the hotel — tram line 7T conveniently connects both ferry terminals, which was especially useful since I arrived by ferry. A metro station is also nearby, along with a mid-sized underground shopping centre. Exceptionally friendly staff: The reception team were welcoming, kind, and helpful throughout the stay. Excellent and varied breakfast: A generous breakfast buffet with hot, cold, and sweet options, including fresh fruit and cakes. Local Finnish treats such as traditional rye bread, Karelian pasties, and cinnamon rolls added a nice touch. A nice extra was the electric kettle and complimentary tea set in the room — much appreciated, especially in the evenings.

The location of the hotel is excellent. The train station is 500 metres away on foot from the airport, and the centre to the port is 15 minutes away. Nearby are the main sights, everywhere can be reached by tram, metro or bus. In the vicinity of shopping opportunities, restaurants, cafes and bars. Breakfast was delicious, the dishes were a large selection, constantly replenished. The staff is helpful.

The twin-bed room was comfortable and was sufficiently roomy for one person, but it would have been a tight squeeze for two people.
