Hostel Overview

Located on Helsinki’s Katajanokka island, surrounded by the sea, this hostel is a 5-minute tram ride from the city centre. Vyökatu Tram Stop is just around the corner. The Viking Line ferry terminal and Kauppatori Market Square are few minutes walk away. Also other interesting sights are close by.
Eurohostel’s rooms are simple but comfortable. The shared bathroom facilities are on the corridor. Additional communal areas include kitchens and lounge rooms. Hostel offers each guest linen and towels, WiFi and morning sauna for free.
Guests can enjoy a buffet-breakfast for an extra charge. Eurohostel's lobby also has vending machines with drinks and snacks.

The location and the single beds were nice. The bathroom had a nice athmosphere with music and was well equipped.

Staff were fantastic, 24hr reception. Luggage storage is great. Near the metro. Walking distance to the Viking cruise terminal. Clean, great value for money. Shared kitchen and bathrooms. Sustainability focus. Morning sauna included.

The location is good, just beside the no. 4 tram station. It's only 6 stations from the Helsinki Central Station. The budget twin room space is good enough for 2 person with 2 pcs 28' luggages. The price is worth for the budget traveller

Eurohostel is great value for money: even a basic shared room has plenty of storage space with lockable wardrobes and a set of shelves, as well as comfortable shared lounges and kitchens with plenty of space in the fridge. Sauna is also included. The staff are friendly, there is a laundry room and luggage storage available to visitors. The location is excellent in a quiet residential neighbourhood with the city centre only a short walk away, convenient public transport links and multiple supermarkets nearby. All the facilities were clean and in good shape and the room was warm. Birdsong recordings playing in the bathrooms were a nice and quirky touch.

Staff were friendly, and the hostel was clean. The bathrooms were great. The location was perfect for the ferry and the centre was only 15-20 min walk. Excellent value. I was also able to leave my bag after checkout
