Everything was brilliant. Helen was the perfect host. Kept checking on us if we needed anything. She was very responsive and helpful with lots of suggestions. The house was pristine, clean, smelt so fresh and massive. We were 4 adult with a noisy 2 year old. My daughter had an amazing time running every where and playing with the dvd and puzzle box! We literally had to hide them from her.

Plenty of space for the family. Large, well fitted kitchen. Helen is a great host. The house is not located directly on the water, but thanks to the height difference you have a bench in the garden from which you can overlook Loch Gare. The environment has an attractive ruggedness. There are several attractions and landmarks nearby, such as Benmore Botanic Garden, Luss and Helenbughs' Hill House - although expect relatively long driving times. Dependable hourly bus service to Helensburgh railway station, which has a direct connection to Glasgow.
