Rongyos “Affordable place a little out of Hamburg.”

Affordable accommodation at driving distance from Hamburg, not too far from the highway. Very friendly and accommodating personnel. We were able to check in early, even with reception officially not being manned at the hour of arrival. We could have very early breakfast (6h30) and check-out, enabling us to leave in time and be ahead of the worst morning traffic into Hamburg.

The hotel itself is not bad. But there were some drawbacks that ruined the stay. Staff is not super hospitable. You can hear all the sounds perfectly in the room. There was also a door in my room that led to the neighbors' room. It was locked. But it let me hear everything that was going on in the neighborhood. My neighbors were great and quiet, but the situation is terrible. In the toilet, the doorway is not completely covered by door, so your family will hear everything that happens there. The carpet on the floor was old and stained. There were a lot of ants in the bathroom. Windows on the garden — the view would be great if the garden hadn't been dug up. Breakfast is not fancy, but acceptable. I was alone, so they put me at the entrance, in a small dark dining room. Everyone, absolutely all the other guests, went into a large room with huge windows, beautiful view and music, where the buffet was actually located. They chose their own tables, while I was offered only two at the entrance in a small room. It's insulting.

Big modern and clean room in separate building (50 meters from the main building). Countryside location in small town. Ample free parking. Tried the cheesburger in the restaurant, very good. Easy to find close to the Autobahn but no noise. Slept well.

Thé whole place and the people were excellent. The breakfast was yummy so much to chose from and the restaurant was great.
