We had a wonderful stay at The Heidelberg Exzellenz Hotel — truly one of those places you’d happily return to without hesitation. First of all, the location is perfect. Everything is within easy walking distance: the charming old town, cozy streets, cafés, and shops. It’s an ideal base for exploring Heidelberg, a city that feels like something out of a postcard — incredibly beautiful, rich in history, and full of character. What made our stay especially memorable was the room itself. It featured a beautiful old stove, which added so much warmth and charm. It created a unique, almost timeless atmosphere — like stepping into another era. Details like this make all the difference and turn a simple stay into a special experience. Overall, a perfect blend of comfort, character, and location. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to truly experience the spirit of the city.

Staff were accommodating and friendly and in the end did the right thing. We had a room with a kitchenette and that was very good for our purposes.

The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, making it easy to relax after a long day. The staff was friendly and efficient, and check-in and check-out were quick and smooth. Overall, it was a convenient and enjoyable stay, and I would happily choose this hotel again.
