Please note that there is a 10 km dirt road leading up to the property and a recreational vehicle is recommended, especially during wet weather. Alternatively, parking and a shuttle can be arranged in Heidelberg. Please contact the property in advance.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.

What an excellent idea to book this magical place for one night. Chris the owner, was in Heidelberg by chance, met us and drove ahed of us to the villa. He gave us a great tour around the large property, which was a good idea, because the weather turned for the worse and we wouldn't have seen these beautiful vistas on the day of departure. Chris told us that he and his neighbour take good care of these large parcels of land, which mostly remain off bounds to tourists, are kept in their natural state and all non-indigenous trees are being removed. Our grandkids loved the villa's music-room and the biljart table. We all enjoyed being in this quiet, peaceful property that was filled with the owner's pieces of art, gathered from all or the world. We really felt that we were staying in someone's private home instead of in a holiday rental. Of course, as always, the big mistake was ,only book it for one night...

Everything was absolutely perfect! Highly recommend if you are looking to get away and enjoy some piece in nature. We stayed for 4 nights and that still was not enough to enjoy everything the place had to offer.

The tranquil setting. Chris’ amazing hospitality. Super comfortable beds. Lovely showers. Plenty of space to breathe and just be.
