Really friendly helpful staff. Clean comfortable room. Not sure it was worth the price but overall a really nice and convenient place to stay. Lovely garden but it got extremely busy in the nice weather on the Friday afternoon

Dirty carpet in room. 40 minute wait for breakfast. Long wait for sink to empty. Random hooks left in wall by bed. Booked a deluxe room thinking it would be a bit of luxury for our 55th wedding anniversary - sadly not so.

Lovely place to stay to see Hay-on-Wye,step out of front door and you have some great walks by the Wye/shops/Castle.

Staff were excellent, especially Sarah. Room was bright, airy, and spacious with chairs and a table. Beds were very comfortable. Super lighting with touch dimmer switches on bedside lamps. Beautiful garden for use of guests, plus lounges and bars.

Staff very friendly. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was nice. Plumbing was an issue no water out of the tap at all for a while and could not flush the toilet on one occasion. Extremely thin walls could hear our neighbours!!
