Bed and Breakfast Overview

Built in 1857, this guest house started life as a Royal Bank of Scotland building. This fully converted property in the heart of Hawick offers stylish luxurious bedrooms, designer toiletries, free Wi-Fi, and wholesome breakfasts.
The spacious, elegant bedrooms at The Bank all have tea/coffee making facilities, a seating area, and en suite facilities with bathrobes and a hairdryer. Modern features include a flat-screen TV and an iPod docking station.
The lounge/dining room has large leather sofas for relaxing.
Northumberland National Park is a 55-minute drive from The Bank Guest House. There is free parking and storage for bicycles, golf and fishing equipment at the property.

Modern room with walk-in wardrobe and large private bathroom with walk-in power shower and large bath. Features include 12-foot-high ceilings and original 1857 working window shutters. Situated on the back of the building, the room overlooks the courtyard and car park. This room cannot accommodate an extra bed.

King or Twin Room - enter dates to see room photos

A large, modern, wooden-floored room with en suite facilities, 2 windows overlooking the High Street, original working shutters, 13-foot high ceiling and king-size leather sleigh bed.

Basic Double Room - enter dates to see room photos

Originally the cashier's office, this double room has a compact en suite and is accessed via its own private staircase. Situated on the back of the building, overlooking the court yard and car park. This room cannot accommodate an extra bed.

Double Room with Four Poster Bed - enter dates to see room photos

A large, bright bedroom with en suite shower room and 13-foot-high ceiling and window shutters. It is situated on the front of the building with 2 windows overlooking the High Street and a Victorian nosey mirror on the outside of window ensures you never miss what is going on outside. This room cannot accommodate an extra bed.

King or Twin Room - enter dates to see room photos

This king or twin room is at the back of the building overlooking the courtyard. This 6 x 5 metre bedroom has a king size bed and is spacious enough to accommodate an additional single bed on request. This room has a 13-foot high ceiling, an original 1857 fireplace and wooden window shutters.

Upgraded to four poster room at no extra cost. Bright airy room, comfy sofa and bed, good shower. Owner Donna set some plates and cutlery out for me, when I said I was popping out for a takeaway Chinese. Able to store back inside by main door. Central in Hawick but still quiet.

The owner Donna is a lovely person, very friendly, very accommodating, met us at the door and showed us where breakfast would be served, our room was huge, warm and very comfortable - 2 cosy armchairs, flat screen Tv, ensuite bathroom with toileteries
