The fine print
The property has a bar which gets busy on weekends with regular private functions on Fridays and Saturdays. Music and noise can be heard until 00:30 and some rooms may be affected.Breakfast is not included in the room rate. A Continental breakfast is available for GBP 5, or a full cooked English breakfast is available for GBP 7.50. Breakfast must be requested prior to arrival.

I glanced at the other reviews before booking, I wasn’t expecting much but for the amount I paid it was fine. Staff were welcoming, I only arrived at 9pm & was gone by 8 the following morning, I didn’t eat there, just a couple of beers in the bar & then to bed. Sure, it’s dated but it was the best value for money I could find within 30 miles & I’ve no complaints.

The actual room is very well designed. The Hotel is a pub/hotel. The whole place is being refurbed. There is a Curry restaurant as part of the pub and real ale in the bar. It is a Pub/hotel. The rooms are excellent and newly decorated in a similar style to a travel Lodge. Great value

Location and parking, not gorgeous but meet our requirements. Very reasonable price . The other hotel in the town was 120£ but we paid almost half here. Thanks
