This is one of the best campings we've been to. We rented a setup tent with all facilities — everything was superclean and well taken care of inside of it. A bit steep in price (125 a night - which is the price of a hotel!), but it was really lovely. It had everything you need; a clean (comfy) bed, lights, chairs, cutlery, cooking pit, things to wash dishes - even a fridge and watercooker. We loved that it had to be quiet between the hours of 23:00 and 08:00 which allowed for a proper sleep at night. There are no lanterns on the camping so it's dark as well. The camping is gigantic - it even has a separate part that is called "quiet area" all the way in the back where any noise is prohibited. If we had known this we would have booked a space there - because we had some noisy talkative neighbors and really wanted some quiet time which we couldn't always get. When the gas of included pitcooker ran out, reception simply gave us a new one for free as it was included in the price of the tent. Very hospitable reception as well (thank you Manon!). We arrived after closing of the reception but all the instructions of how to enter were left in my Booking.com inbox in a very well written instruction overview. Good to know; a lot of Dutch people are on this camping, if this is your preference (or not). Showered in the AM; runs from lukewarm to hot was very lovely! People were friendly and also felt safe (as a Black woman with a white male partner - interracial couple), people mind their own business and feels like people are there mainly to rest and enjoy the nature. Excellent nature 💜

Sold as retro and or vintage caravan, which it is, it is a small old and slightly tatty. It does have a double bed once you’ve (Simon, member of staff, struggled to do it for me; so don’t try in the dark) ‘broken down’ the central table to bridge the gap for the cushions. The bed was surprisingly comfortable. There was a good duvet and pillows. There are cooking facilities with an electric hob, kettle and a heater. Fold up chair for outside. The shower blocks are a little distant and basic. Outside it is in a beautiful quiet valley very near a river. The staff are wonderful and very helpful and pleasant and are trying their best. Simon drove me to the nearest bar. Thank you!
