James and his team run a wonderful friendly hotel. On arrival we were offered a free upgrade as staying a couple of days. 3 course dinner was excellent and reasonable price for quality. James would greet every guest in the morning and offer advice to places that they should visit. Hotel has beautiful gardens.

Beautiful hotel in gorgeous grounds. The 5-course dinner was not only excellent, but even after two bottles of good wine, was a very reasonable price.
