Loved it. Yeah okay, it's really old - the rooms are wonky, the whole pace is absolutely tiny, and it might get a bit damp if you don't use the dehumidifier - but I don't think I've ever stayed anywhere so utterly adorable. So full of real history and character, right in the middle of one of the most charming old town centres in the country, but at the end of a street with no traffic, this place makes us feel like we're actually in olde worlde Hastings, and you can't put a price on that. It helps that the cleaning and equipping is meticulous, and the beds are fantastic.
