Great location right on the front. Nice room at the top of some stairs. Small but cosy. The property does not have a lift although that was not a problem for us and we're in our seventies. No dedicated car park although plenty of street spaces were always available in Warrior Square which is just 2 minutes away

Gorgeous, large rustic bedroom with homely touches. Lovely wooden floors appear original. In an amazing, massive period building with tasteful decor throughout. Building seemed cared for and cleaned with love. Like staying in somebodys (very nice) house. Didn't miss having a sea view, as hotel is sea front anyway, and the side/back of building had very entertaining seagull action (!) and was pleasant enough. Rooms very clean and had everything you could need. Including earplugs, which is a first in a hotel room for me! A huge metal floor fan was also provided, which was super effective at cooling the room when required and also for providing soothing white noise through the night. Lovely big bathroom, also with plenty of space. Windows that opened in both rooms, to properly air the room as required. There was little to no noise at night (perhaps helped by the earplugs and fan?) Lovely, helpful staff. Amazing breakfast on offer in the bistro downstairs in the morning, with delicious iced coffee on offer should you wish.

We had an amazing stay here.The view in Room 6 outstanding..Such a beautiful wall design ,and the location is also worth the money.
