Such a warm and welcoming stay. Our room was lovely, with beautiful views over the garden and the woods behind the house. Breakfast was excellent, with a delicious vegetarian option available. The location is ideal just a 20-minute walk to the sea. We spent three nights there and returned home feeling completely recharged. Summerfields House is a wonderful place to relax and explore the beautiful town of Hastings. Thank you so much!

The hosts are lovely people and a great illustration of the advantage you get when staying with a small family business rather than a chain hotel or faceless lock-box merchant. The garden is attractive and the setting is bizarrely rural-feeling considering its proximity to the road. It was almost guaranteed to see a fox trotting past at twilight. Breakfast, as other reviews have noted, is great. The conservatory area has plenty of natural light and looks out on to the garden. The Hastings museum (free entry) is a short walk away and a fascinating visit. We really enjoyed walking down to St. Leonard's, then along the beach front to Hastings Old Town. So much to see, and a lot of great places in which to browse and eat. The surrounding area seemed very safe and free on-site parking is behind entry code-protected gates

This has to be the best place i have stayed at. Very friendly and very helpful with local information. The property was amazing clean And well managed. The House is set set in a beautiful location. The first morning at breakfast a beautiful Fox came walking out of the woods and walked around the garden like he was home. The attention to detail was excellent even down to having a water bottle in the wardrobe with extra blankets. The Bed was extremely comfy and the temperature was perfect not to hot and not to cold. Breakfast was fantastic you couldn't ask for more. I would highly recommend staying at this beautiful property and if I'm in Hastings again i would definitely pick this location without a doubt. Thank you for a very relaxing few days with you both.
