We arrived having followed the very extensive instructions provided by the owner, then accessed the keys via a lock-box. We were very pleased with the outside of the property, which has been decorated beautifully and was very spacious. The hot tub was more than large enough for the four of us, which included our two adult daughters. We entered the property itself and it was absolutely beautiful. From the kitchen, to the living room, to the bedrooms and bathroom. Everything was decorated beautifully, and with good taste and attention to detail. There were so many little things that showed the owner has thought carefully about his guests. There were chocolates on the pillows, a rose on our bed, biscuits by the kettle and some games left in the living room. Another nice touch was the autumnal themed video on the TV for our arrival. Some people have commented on the location being an issue, but this was not the case for us. We wanted a quiet place where we could all relax and the dogs could be enclosed, we were not bothered about being in the centre of Hartlepool. The Secret Cabin Getaway delivered exactly that. Yes, it is in the middle of an industrial estate, but this is what we loved about it. It was peaceful and we felt at ease. The beach is not too far away, we visited this with our dogs. There are also lots of local amenities a short drive away. You just need to do your research before your stay. We absolutely loved our break away from the hustle and bustle of life for a few days and we will be returning in the future. The owner was fab, communicated with us very promptly throughout our stay offering tips and suggestions should we need them. Many thanks! We will be back. The Smiths. :)

Super modern, spacious, private and perfect for 4 people and dog for the weekend. Close to the beach for walks and super cosy on a night! Will certainly be back!

The property was amazing! Everything you could think of needing to take was already there. Beds very comfortable shower amazing and the hot tub an added bonus. The smell when you walk in is lovely and just a clean smell was very welcoming. The tv is huge and great to watch a movie on. The host is very helpful and very accommodating. They give us a late check out also which was a bonus so we could have a lie in before leaving. Will be visiting again

Everything was lovely, the cabin is decorated beautifully and is very clean. It was so comfortable and very homely it was just what we needed. The hot tub was also lovely and clean and ready as we arrived. The owners were very helpful of finding the location as well.
