Neil “Ideally located comfortable apartment with excellent facilities”

Rosie's place is ideally located, a few minutes walk from the local shops, pubs and bus stop. It is also within walking distance of Hartland Abbey & Gardens and Hartland Quay. The apartment had a very comfortable bed. There were a good number of hangers provided for clothes. All crockery and cutlery were supplied, as well as a refrigerator, microwave and a toaster. There was a kettle and complimentary tea and coffee in the room. Rosie kindly left us a welcome cream tea, which was very much appreciated. All linen, towels and free toiletries were provided. The bathroom had a fitted shower cubicle. We loved the outdoor suntrap seating area, which had its own sink and barbecue.

Rosie's Place was well-equipped and it was easy to see that a lot of thought and care has been put into making this a very comfy place to stay. On arrival, Rosie had already made sure that there was milk in the fridge and had left us two large scones for afternoon tea. This was an unexpected and delightful treat. The room has a fridge and microwave, cutlery and dishes so if you want to self-cater on a limited basis, you can. However we ate out at one of the several local pubs that are all just a minute or two walk away.

Perfect overnight stay - spotless, comfortable and had everything we needed and more. Ten minutes drive from Hartland Quay for beautiful coastal walks. We spent a lovely evening at the Anchor Inn in Hartland for dinner and drinks. Communication from Rosie was excellent even though we didn't get to meet. Great value for money - not sure we could have chosen better, thank you!

Rosie went above and beyond with our stay. The place itself was very cosy and comfortable with everything we needed. Rosie had left us a cream tea in the fridge and offered us to use her tumble drier. The next morning she sorted us a lift down to the coast which was hugely appreciated with a long day's hike coming up on the coast path!
