The fine print
This is a farm stay with a 1.5km gravel road, built in a dense bush around a dam. Frogs, mosquitos and spiders are difficult to control especially in the rainy summer times. It's a self-catering unit and personnel and owners are available in standard business hours 8am to 5pm unless in the event of an emergency, and the reason that check in is before 5pm so that you can be assisted if there is discomfort. It's not a hotel or B&B where staff is always available and ready to assist immediately at any time of night. We have strict noise policies and curfews, and planned celebrations are not allowed as well as no day visitors.This property will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties.

The location was easy to find, simple instructions to get the keys to the room. The water was hot we ,were able to take a warm shower.

I loved how cozy they made the place. Almost felt like I’m at home. Alicia and Dirk are very friendly hosts, always there to help assist if needed. The rooms were very neat and clean. I personally will definitely recommend staying at Hartbees Eco Bush Lodge and I will also visit them again!

We liked the braai area and the little private pool. The location of the unit is near the Spar and Chameleon Village, and it's quick to get to the other side of the dam wall.
