Location was great for what we needed. The room was a great size, particularly with a kid and dog in tow. The pub itself is a lively locals pub with great food and a nice atmosphere. Gabbi checked in with us each day to make sure that the room was alright, and if there was anything else that we needed.

A very warm and friendly welcome. Our plans had changed a little, so we opted for a second night straight away due to the location. We had to change rooms for the 2nd, night which wasn't a problem. The 1st room was perfect for the 3 of us.

This place has got to be the best doggy friendly pub for an overnight stay we have ever used. The owners and staff are lovely people very welcoming and friendly to us and our labradoodle. Our room was lovely and clean and cosy. We were staying as visiting in the area. The bar had a fab roaring fire and had a lovely atmosphere. We sat in the library room for our meal and the food and service was top notch. We stayed on a Wednesday and they have a quiz on which we really enjoyed the place was packed! Brilliant evening. Thank you all for making our stay so lovely. We will be back hopefully soon. Don't hesitate to book here with your pooch it's brilliant 😀

Lovely pub, good location. Homely feel. It was fireworks night! We were informed of this when we got there (I didn’t check before) and was great as we got to se the fireworks, then head in for a drink!

V comfortable room with great facilities. Loved having Netflix available, plus the ability to stream from our own tech made watching things easier. We ate in the restaurant which was quiet early on. Food was amazing, lamb shank which melted off the bone. Both starters (soups of the day and garlic mushrooms) were amongst the best we've ever had. There was a comedy night on which we were worried would disturb our evening but this wasn't the case and noise levels died down at a reasonable time. We would definitely stay here again.
