Friendliness of the host, Francesca, who when we communicated with her about arriving late and needing to find food was understanding and helpful. The relaxed ambience of the property made for an extremely pleasant stay. The extra touches of fresh garden flowers , the tin of biscuits on the tea/coffee tray and jug of fresh milk and the friendly chats made the visit home from home. Highly recommend a stay at Church Barn with Francesca.

Beautiful accommodation - spotlessly clean and homely. The bedroom was large with a very comfy bed and wonderful refreshment tray with tea, coffee etc and homemade biscuits. The en-suite was large and the shower very powerful. The towels were changed daily and there were fresh cottage flowers in the room. Francesca is the perfect host - so friendly and accommodating. She made us feel completely at home and gave us lots of information about places to eat and places to visit. The breakfast was fantastic with local produce and the most delicious mushrooms we have ever eaten. On arrival, after a long drive, we made a cup of tea and sat in the beautiful cottage garden in the sunshine - a little piece of paradise surrounded by daisies, roses and cottage flowers.

Francesca ( and Bella the dog) are wonderful hosts, very friendly and welcoming and everything in this lovely barn cottage was perfect, including the substantial tasty breakfasts. Our 3 night stay passed too quickly but we intend to return. Thank you again. Highly recommended.
