Nature & animals & nice location - outside the city in the woods

The house with stone walls and an impressive space inside was a pleasant surprise. The abundance of space, natural light, and a number of functional and design elements from old times are nice and inspirative. Importantly, the house does not get hot inside during summer days (however, I wonder if it can be warm enough in colder seasons). The kitchen is relatively small but fully equipped. The bedroom in the mezzanine might appear not very spacious for four people, but we found it completely sufficient. There is a nice grass yard at hosts' disposal, and there is a pond, where our children enjoyed trying a kayak offered by a kind owner... The location is very quiet, surrounded with a forest. Fresh air, the sky full of stars... It is handy that there are tourist paths and cycling roads nearby, some of them lie very close to the house; at the same time it is nice that one does not meet too many people in the local forests.
